Here we will show the most played cards of Theros Beyond Death in the Pioneer format in the last two weeks. This list was made using our Metagame page: we collected information from 5-0 decks, Playoff winners, Challenge, Star City Games and other tournaments. The job here was to process the Theros Beyond Death cards that most appeared on these winning decks; just a description of what's going on in the format.

Basic lands have been removed from this list, as well as reprints.

This time we decided on a rule for the cards we are going to talk about here: the card must be in at least 1% of the decks. Then, below are the 9 cards that impacted Pioneer:

From combo with Ballista to a card that have a high value, Heliod is a central piece in some new decks:

The inverter combo is the new deck that everybody is talking in Pioneer. It is just possible because Thassa is the primary win condition of the deck:

What did you think about this ranking? I see Theros Beyond Death creating two new tier 1 decks: Heliod and Thassa; while old decks are testing Uro in some way. Pioneer is a new format, normally every new set will impact it, but Theros went beyond expectations!
