Wizards of the Coast announced today, during MagicCon Vegas, its release window for Magic: The Gathering in 2025, in addition to some changes in the management of products in the Universes Beyond series.
Universes Beyond will be legal on Standard and Pioneer
From the launch of Universes Beyond: Final Fantasy, all expansions in this category will be legal in all formats - that is, they will enter Standard and Pioneer in addition to Modern, Legacy, Vintage and Commander. This is the most radical change announced by the company during the event and means, in practice, that Standard will have six expansions in 2025.

Previously, Universes Beyond were only allowed in eternal formats for their product categories: Secret Lair drops and Commander decks. With Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth, the Modern format had its own insertion of cards from the series, a proposal replicated in Assassin's Creed.

Innistrad Remastered
Release Date: January 24th
Innistrad Remastered is the fourth product in its line in the history of Magic and follows the same pattern as previous expansions, an set with reprints of the main cards from the Innistrad blocks:
In addition to these, some iconic characters from or famous in the plane will be reprinted, such as Edgar Markov.
Aetherdrift
Release Date: February 14th
The first expansion for Standard in 2025 will be Aetherdrift and takes place in a death race between three Planes. The set will have ten teams that will be represented by the game's two color combinations. Chandra will be in the race searching for a specific prize: the Aetherspark, the first Planeswalker Equipment.
Among the cards already revealed, we have a cycle of two-color Gearhulks and the return of Daretti, this time without a spark.
Tarkir: Dragonstorm
Release date: April 11
Tarkir: Dragonstorm will take us back to Tarkir and the return of clan and dragon themes. The expansion brings the return of the Planeswalkers Ugin and Sarkhan Vol
Universes Beyond: Final Fantasy
Release date: June 13
Universes Beyond's first expansion in 2025 will be from the famous Final Fantasy RPG franchise. Originally revealed in 2023, the set will be legal in Standard and brings iconic characters and moments from the series to the Magic tables, such as the villains Sephiroth, Kefka and Emet-Selch and heroes and heroines like Lightning , Noctis and Cloud Strife.
Edge of Eternities
Release date: August 1
Edge of Eternities marks Standard's rotation to 2025. The expansion, apparently, takes place in the Blind Eternities, the space between the game's planes. Cosmic travel is its central theme.

Universes Beyond: Spider-Man
Release date: To be defined.
The Marvel universe collides with the Magic universe in Universes Beyond: Spider Man, which brings the adventures of the famous comic book hero to the Standard tables and other competitive formats.
Universes Beyond: ???
The last set of 2025 will be another product in the Universes Beyond series, but it has not been revealed what the IP or its release date will be.
