Diese Karte wäre in einem Deck vorteilhaft, das sich auf Artefaktsynergien oder Lebensgewinnstrategien konzentriert, da sie eine Kreatur in ein Artefakt verwandeln kann, um verwandte Fähigkeiten auszulösen und eine konstante Quelle für Lebensgewinn zu bieten. Es gibt jedoch effizientere Karten, die ähnliche Effekte bieten, wie z.B. Liquimetal Coating oder Basilisk Collar, die je nach spezifischer Deckstrategie bessere Optionen sein können. Insgesamt könnte Auto-Key zwar spezielle Verwendungszwecke haben, aber es könnte nicht weit verbreitet in wettbewerbsfähigen Magic: The Gathering Decks gespielt werden.

If you crank multiple Contraptions, their abilities can be put onto the stack in any order. The ability put onto the stack will resolve first.

If you or a permanent you control are instructed to assemble a Contraption, reveal the top card of your Contraption deck. Put it onto the battlefield on one of the three sprockets.

If you or a permanent you control assembles a Contraption and your Contraption deck is empty, nothing happens. You don’t lose the game.
