Die Bindung des Beschwörers wäre in einem Deck vorteilhaft, das sich auf spezifische Kreatursynergien oder Kombinationen konzentriert, was ein konstantes Suchen nach Schlüsselkreaturen ermöglicht. In einem Wettkampfumfeld könnten jedoch andere Karten wie Geburtspod oder Grüne Sonnenzenit möglicherweise vielseitigere und sofortige Kreatursuchoptionen bieten, was die Bindung des Beschwörers weniger optimal für das Spielen auf hohem Niveau macht, es sei denn, das gewählte Kreaturpaar ist entscheidend für die Strategie des Decks.
