Mahlstrom-Nexus, Verzauberung, entworfen von Steven Belledin Erstveröffentlichung in Apr, 2009 bei der Bearbeitung Alara Reborn und wurde genau in gedruckt 6 verschiedene Formen. Es wird derzeit zum niedrigsten Preis von verkauft Fr 2.75.

Ein Deck, das von explosiven, unvorhersehbaren Spielzügen profitiert und es genießt, mehrere Zauber in einem Zug zu wirken, wie ein Combo- oder Kontrolldeck, würde Maelstrom Nexus aufgrund seiner Kaskadenfähigkeit wertvoll finden. Während Maelstrom Nexus zu aufregenden und mächtigen Zügen führen kann, könnte es aufgrund seiner hohen Manakosten und seiner Abhängigkeit vom Glück als zu langsam und riskant für den Wettkampf angesehen werden. Andere Karten wie Maelstrom Pulse oder Maelstrom Wanderer könnten in bestimmten Strategien eine konsistentere und sofortige Wertsteigerung bieten.

The converted mana cost of a modal double-faced card in exile is that of its front face. If the last card you exile is a modal double-faced card, you may only cast the back face if the resulting spell would also have a lesser converted mana cost than the spell with cascade.
