Die Blutlinie unterbrechen, Hexerei, entworfen von Clint Cearley Erstveröffentlichung in Sep, 2011 bei der Bearbeitung Innistrad und wurde genau in gedruckt 9 verschiedene Formen. Es wird derzeit zum niedrigsten Preis von verkauft Fr 0.01.

Ein Deck, das sich darauf konzentriert, das Spielfeld zu kontrollieren, indem es Schlüsselbedrohungen entfernt, würde davon profitieren, Sever the Bloodline einzuschließen. Diese Karte ist besonders effektiv gegen Decks, die auf mehrfache Kopien derselben Kreatur angewiesen sind, wie z.B. Stammesdecks oder Decks mit mächtigen Kreaturkombinationen. Während es andere Entfernungssprüche geben kann, die vielseitiger oder effizienter in bestimmten Situationen sind, kann Sever the Bloodline's Fähigkeit, alle Kreaturen mit demselben Namen zu verbannen, einen spielverändernden Schlag gegen die Strategie des Gegners darstellen. Es könnte als Sideboard-Option in spezifischen Matchups gespielt werden, in denen es am meisten glänzt.
