Karametras Akolyth wäre in einem monogrünen Hingabedeck in Magic: the Gathering von Vorteil, wo es basierend auf der Hingabe des Spielers an Grün eine beträchtliche Menge an grünem Mana erzeugen kann. Obwohl es sich um eine solide Rampenkarte handelt, gibt es potenziell bessere Optionen wie Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, die unter den richtigen Bedingungen noch mehr Mana erzeugen können. Karametras Akolyth könnte immer noch in Decks zum Einsatz kommen, die sich auf die Generierung von grünem Mana und Ramp-Strategien konzentrieren.
