Stonehewer Giant would be a great addition to a white-based Equipment deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing a strong tutor effect for finding and equipping powerful Equipment cards. While it may not be the most efficient option compared to cards like Stoneforge Mystic, which can put the Equipment directly into play for a cheaper cost, Stonehewer Giant's ability to search for any Equipment card in your library can still be valuable in certain strategies and could see play in decks looking to maximize their Equipment synergy.

Stonehewer Giant’s ability doesn’t target a creature. However, the creature must be able to be legally equipped by the Equipment. For example, you could attach the Equipment to a creature with shroud, but not to one with protection from artifacts.
