About Nimbus Naiad

Nimbus Naiad, Enchantment creature — nymph, designed by David Palumbo first released in Sep, 2013 in the set Theros and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Casual. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 4.82.

Nimbus Naiad would be a great addition to a blue-based tempo or control deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing a solid flying threat with the ability to boost another creature's power and toughness while granting it flying. However, there are more efficient options available, such as Favorable Winds or Empyrean Eagle, which offer similar benefits for a lower cost and without the need for an additional creature to bestow upon. Ultimately, Nimbus Naiad may not see much play in competitive decks due to its higher mana cost and the existence of better alternatives.

Rules

09/15/13

Auras attached to a creature don’t become tapped when the creature becomes tapped. Except in some rare cases, an Aura with bestow remains untapped when it becomes unattached and becomes a creature.

09/15/13

On the stack, a spell with bestow is either a creature spell or an Aura spell. It’s never both, although it’s an enchantment spell in either case.

09/15/13

Unlike other Auras, an Aura with bestow isn’t put into its owner’s graveyard if it becomes unattached. Rather, the effect making it an Aura ends, it loses enchant creature, and it remains on the battlefield as an enchantment creature. It can attack (and its abilities can be activated, if it has any) on the turn it becomes unattached if it’s been under your control continuously, even as an Aura, since your most recent turn began.
