Dryad Arbor ist eine vielseitige Karte, die Decks zugute kommen kann, die ihre Manaproduktion frühzeitig steigern möchten, insbesondere bei grünbasierten Strategien, die auf Manabeschleunigung basieren. Während es aufgrund seines Kreaturenstatus anfällig für Entfernung sein kann, kann seine Fähigkeit, grünes Mana zu erhalten, im richtigen Deck wertvoll sein. Allerdings gibt es potenziell bessere Optionen für die Manabeschleunigung, wie zum Beispiel Mana-Idioten wie Llanowar Elves oder Elvish Mystic, die für einen gleichmäßigen Mana-Anstieg sorgen, ohne dass das Risiko besteht, eine Landkreatur zu verlieren. If a Dryad Arbor gains flash, or you have the ability to play Dryad Arbor as though it had flash (due to Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir or Scout’s Warning, for example), you can ignore the normal timing rules for when during your turn you can play a land, but not any other restrictions. You can’t play Dryad Arbor during another player’s turn, and you can’t play Dryad Arbor if you don’t have any land plays remaining.
