Fury Storm würde einem Commander-Deck, das sich darauf konzentriert, ihren Commander mehrmals im Verlauf des Spiels zu wirken, sehr zugute kommen, wie zum Beispiel einem Deck, das um einen Commander mit einer mächtigen ausgelösten Fähigkeit oder einer Zauberstrategie herum aufgebaut ist. Während Fury Storm in dem richtigen Deck eine starke Karte sein kann, könnte sie von anderen Optionen wie Fork, Reiterate oder Twincast übertroffen werden, die mehr Flexibilität bieten und in einer breiteren Palette von Situationen eingesetzt werden können.
