Blood Moon is a powerful card that can be beneficial in a mono-red aggressive deck or a deck that aims to disrupt opponents' mana bases. However, it can also be a double-edged sword as it can disrupt your own mana base if you rely on nonbasic lands. Other cards like Magus of the Moon or Alpine Moon may be better options depending on the specific deck strategy, but Blood Moon can still be a strong inclusion in certain metagames and should see play in decks that can fully capitalize on its ability to shut down nonbasic lands.
