About Camel
Camel, Creature — camel, designed by Sandra Everingham first released in Dec, 1993 in the set Arabian Nights. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of A$ 7.94.
A deck that focuses on creating a strong band of creatures would benefit from using the Camel card in Magic: The Gathering, especially if it includes other Desert cards to synergize with Camel's ability to prevent damage from Deserts. While Camel can be a fun and thematic addition to a deck, there are likely more competitive options available, such as creatures with more impactful abilities or better stats for the mana cost. In a highly competitive setting, Camel may not see much play, but in more casual or themed decks, it could be a flavorful and enjoyable inclusion.
Rules
10/01/09
If a creature in combat has banding, its controller assigns damage for creatures blocking or blocked by it. That player can ignore the damage assignment order when making this assignment.
10/01/08
A maximum of one nonbanding creature can join an attacking band no matter how many creatures with banding are in it.
10/04/04
It does prevent damage from animated Deserts in combat.
