About Chimeric Egg
Chimeric Egg, Artifact, designed by Michael Sutfin first released in May, 2020 in the set Darksteel. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of A$ 0.50.
Chimeric Egg could be a valuable addition to a control deck that aims to slow down the opponent's nonartifact spell casting while building up counters on the egg, eventually turning it into a powerful creature for a potential win condition. However, in a competitive setting, there may be more efficient cards with similar effects, such as Solemn Simulacrum or Wurmcoil Engine, which offer more immediate impact or value. Chimeric Egg could still see play in a casual or themed deck for its unique and flavorful design.
Rules
08/01/08
A noncreature permanent that turns into a creature can attack, and its abilities can be activated, only if its controller has continuously controlled that permanent since the beginning of their most recent turn. It doesn’t matter how long the permanent has been a creature.
