Flayed Nim would be a great addition to a black control deck focused on draining the opponent's life total. Its ability to make the opponent lose life whenever it deals combat damage can be a powerful way to chip away at their health. However, since it requires regeneration to stay on the battlefield, it may be vulnerable to removal spells or effects that exile creatures, so it's important to have ways to protect it. There may be better options for a similar strategy, such as creatures with built-in protection or additional abilities that provide more value.
