About Fumarole
Fumarole, Sorcery, designed by Drew Tucker first released in Jun, 1995 in the set Ice Age and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of A$ 0.51.
A deck that focuses on resource denial and disruption, such as a Rakdos Control or Land Destruction deck, would benefit from using Fumarole. While Fumarole offers a powerful effect of destroying both a creature and a land, it does come with the additional cost of paying 3 life. There are potentially better options like Vindicate or Decimate that provide similar utility without the life payment, but Fumarole could still see play in specific strategies that can leverage its unique effect effectively.
Rules
10/01/08
Fumarole can’t be cast unless you can target both a creature and a land. If there’s a permanent on the battlefield that’s both a creature and a land, it can be both targets.
