A deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly and has a high density of powerful permanents with varying mana values would benefit from including Genesis Wave. While Genesis Wave can provide explosive turns by putting multiple permanents onto the battlefield at once, it can be inconsistent and risky due to the random nature of the cards revealed.
