About Hit-Monkey

Hit-Monkey, Legendary creature — monkey assassin, designed by Peter Scanlan first released in Jun, 2026 in the set Marvel Super Heroes Commander.

Hit-Monkey as a 3G legendary creature with “can’t be countered” plus reach, vigilance, deathtouch, hexproof, and haste would slot best into green-based midrange, stompy, or “legendary matters” decks (especially in Commander), where resilient, efficient threats that pressure immediately and dominate combat are prized; it’s also excellent in any meta heavy on blue control thanks to being uncounterable and hexproof. At four mana, a hasty, nearly untouchable creature with deathtouch and vigilance would be extremely pushed—comparable to or arguably stronger in raw keyword density than Questing Beast (which lacks hexproof and can be countered) and more combat-dominant than Thrun, the Last Troll (which lacks haste, reach, and deathtouch), making it likely better than most existing mono-green 4-drops for pure efficiency and resilience. Given that combination of evasion denial (reach), instant impact (haste), combat superiority (deathtouch + vigilance), and protection (hexproof + uncounterable)
