About Renewed Faith

Renewed Faith, Instant, designed by Dave Dorman first released in May, 2020 in the set Onslaught and was printed exactly in 13 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of A$ 0.03.

Renewed Faith would be beneficial in a white control or lifegain deck, providing a quick boost in life total while also cycling for card advantage. However, there are potentially better options like Revitalize, which offers immediate life gain and card draw for a lower cost, making it more efficient in most situations. Renewed Faith could see play in specific lifegain-focused strategies, but may not be a top choice in more competitive decks due to its higher cost and slower impact.

Triggered abilities from cycling a card and the cycling ability itself aren’t spells. Effects that interact with spells (such as that of Cancel) won’t affect them.

Cycling is an activated ability. Effects that interact with activated abilities (such as Stifle or Rings of Brighthearth) will interact with cycling. Effects that interact with spells (such as Remove Soul or Faerie Tauntings) will not.

The cycling ability and the triggered ability are separate. If the triggered ability doesn’t resolve (due to being countered with Stifle, for example, or if all its targets have become illegal), the cycling ability will still resolve and you’ll draw a card.
