Aphetto Runecaster, Schepsel – menselijke tovenaar, designed by Scott M. Fischer first released in May, 2003 in the set Scourge. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 0.56.
Aphetto Runecaster would be beneficial in a morph-heavy deck in Magic: the Gathering, as turning permanents face up triggers its card draw ability. However, for a more efficient draw engine, Edric, Spymaster of Trest may be a better choice due to its consistent card advantage ability, making Aphetto Runecaster less likely to see play in competitive decks.
