About Single Combat

Single Combat, Sorcery, designed by Livia Prima first released in May, 2019 in the set War of the Spark Promos and was printed exactly in 6 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 0.29.

Single Combat can be a powerful card in a control deck that focuses on maintaining board presence and limiting the opponent's options. While it can be effective in certain situations, there are better board wipe options available in white, such as Wrath of God or Day of Judgment, which provide more immediate and impactful removal without the restrictions on casting creatures or planeswalkers. As Single Combat resolves, first the player whose turn it is chooses a creature or planeswalker they control, then each other player in turn order does the same, knowing the choices made before them. Then each unchosen creature and planeswalker is sacrificed at the same time.
