About Abyssal Nightstalker

Abyssal Nightstalker, Creature — nightstalker, designed by Sam Wood first released in Jun, 1998 in the set Portal Second Age. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.79.

Abyssal Nightstalker would be a strong addition to a discard-focused black deck, as it can disrupt the opponent's hand size and resources. However, there are potentially better cards like Hypnotic Specter, which has a similar effect but also flies and has a more aggressive statline. Whether Abyssal Nightstalker should see play depends on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck, but it could be a solid choice in the right build.

Rules

04/15/13

An ability that triggers when something “attacks and isn’t blocked” triggers in the declare blockers step after blockers are declared if (1) that creature is attacking and (2) no creatures are declared to block it. It will trigger even if that creature was put onto the battlefield attacking rather than having been declared as an attacker in the declare attackers step.
