About Thud
Thud, Sorcery, designed by Kev Walker first released in Jul, 2018 in the set Core Set 2019. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 1.57.
A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and sacrificing creatures for value, such as a Red Aggro or Sacrifice deck, would benefit from including Thud in their strategy. While Thud can be a powerful finisher, there are potentially better options like Fling, which can deal damage equal to the sacrificed creature's power directly to the opponent, bypassing blockers. However, Thud can still see play in decks looking for additional reach or ways to deal with problematic creatures.

Players can respond only once Thud has been cast and all its costs have been paid. No one can try to destroy the creature you sacrificed to prevent you from casting this spell.
