Thundercloud Elemental, Creature — elemental, designed by Anthony S. Waters first released in May, 2003 in the set Scourge. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.70.
A deck that focuses on controlling the board and disrupting your opponent's creatures would benefit from including Thundercloud Elemental. Its ability to tap creatures with low toughness can stall aggressive strategies, while also removing flying from other creatures can disrupt aerial threats. However, there are more efficient options available such as Cyclonic Rift which offers a more versatile board wipe effect, making Thundercloud Elemental less likely to see play in competitive decks.
