About Wild Swing

Wild Swing, Sorcery, designed by Richard Kane Ferguson first released in May, 2020 in the set Shadowmoor and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 0.59.

This card, Wild Swing, could be beneficial in a deck that focuses on disrupting your opponent's board state by targeting key nonenchantment permanents. However, due to the randomness of the destruction effect, it may not always be the most reliable option. Cards like Vandalblast or By Force may be better choices for targeted permanent removal, as they offer more control over what gets destroyed. Ultimately, whether Wild Swing sees play would depend on the specific strategy and playstyle of the deck it's included in.

Rules

05/01/08

You target three permanents as you cast Wild Swing. You don’t randomly choose which one will be destroyed until Wild Swing resolves. If one of those permanents has become an illegal target by then, you randomly choose between the other two. If two of those permanents have become illegal targets by then, there is no random choice — the remaining permanent is destroyed.
