The Armillary Sphere card would benefit decks that require consistent mana fixing and ramp, such as control or midrange decks looking to hit their land drops consistently. While Armillary Sphere provides a reliable way to search for basic lands, there are potentially better cards like Rampant Growth or Farseek that provide similar effects at a lower cost and without the need to sacrifice the artifact. However, Armillary Sphere could still see play in budget decks or decks that require redundancy in their mana fixing options.
