About Axe Token
Axe Token, Token artifact — equipment, designed by Nathaniel Himawan first released in July 2026 in the set The Hobbit Tokens.
Axe Token would only benefit very casual Equipment, Voltron, or aggressive creature decks that want a cheap artifact to trigger synergies, but giving just +1/+0 for an equip cost of {2} is inefficient and it should generally not see play in Commander or constructed formats; `Bonesplitter` is strictly better for most purposes because it costs {1} to equip while granting +2/+0, while `Bonesaw` is another better option if the card must be extremely cheap to cast, so Axe Token is mainly a novelty or draft-level card unless it has an additional token-generation or artifact-synergy advantage.
