About Battlegate Mimic
Battlegate Mimic, Creature — shapeshifter, designed by Franz Vohwinkel first released in May, 2020 in the set Eventide and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.50.
A deck that focuses on casting a high number of red and white spells, such as a Boros Aggro or Midrange deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from including Battlegate Mimic. However, there are potentially better cards for similar effects, such as Monastery Swiftspear or Soul-Scar Mage, which provide consistent value without relying on specific spell colors. While Battlegate Mimic could see play in a more niche deck, it may not be as impactful as other options in a broader context.
