**Beast Mode** fits best in go‑wide green aggro decks—especially token or Selesnya‑style creature swarms—because Teamwork 1 is trivially enabled by small creatures, letting you push damage while upgrading a key attacker permanently; it’s particularly appealing in formats where you curve out with mana dorks or 1/1 tokens and want scalable combat tricks that reward board presence. That said, in competitive formats there are stronger options: **Vines of Vastwood** (protection plus pump), **Blossoming Defense** (efficient protection), **Scale Up** (huge burst damage), and **Invigorate** (free in certain builds) are generally better in pump/combo shells, while **Rancor** or **Audacity** provide repeatable pressure in creature decks. Beast Mode would be solid in Limited and possibly Standard‑level go‑wide aggro if synergy support exists, but it’s unlikely to outperform the premier pump spells in higher‑power formats unless the Teamwork mechanic has strong additional payoffs.
