Bothersome Noisemaker best fits a low-curve red-based spellslinger/token deck that casts many cheap noncreature spells—especially one that can exploit a steadily growing Goblin Army with sacrifice outlets, go-wide payoffs, or Goblin tribal support—but it is generally too slow and low-impact for conventional Goblins, which prefer creatures that make multiple Goblins or directly enhance the tribe. **Young Pyromancer** is usually better in spell-heavy decks because every instant or sorcery immediately creates a separate 1/1 body, while **Third Path Iconoclast** is often better still for producing a wider board from both artifacts and noncreature spells; for dedicated Goblins, cards such as **Krenko, Mob Boss** or **Goblin Rabblemaster** provide much more threatening token production.
