About Brigid's Command

Brigid's Command, Kindred sorcery — kithkin, designed by Sam Guay first released in January 2026 in the set Lorwyn Eclipsed and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.67.

Brigid’s Command would fit best in a Selesnya (green-white) Kithkin or go-wide creature deck, especially one built around tribal synergies and board presence, since it offers flexibility: copying a key Kithkin (like one with a strong static ability), making an extra body, providing a temporary +3/+3 combat boost, or functioning as removal via a fight effect. It’s most appealing in casual or Commander Kithkin tribal builds where modal flexibility and tribal synergy matter more than raw efficiency; however, in competitive formats it’s likely outclassed—cards like **Collected Company** (for creature decks), **March of the Multitudes** (for token strategies), **Dromoka’s Command** (for efficient modal interaction), or **Selesnya Charm** generally provide stronger impact or better rate for similar mana. While the flexibility is nice, none of the individual modes are especially pushed for three mana, so it probably wouldn’t see high-level competitive play but could be solid and flavorful in

Rules

11/17/2025

Any enters abilities of the copied permanent will trigger when the token enters. Any "as [this permanent] enters" or "[this permanent] enters with" abilities of the copied permanent will also work.

11/17/2025

If all of Brigid's Command's targets are illegal as it tries to resolve, it will do nothing. If at least one target is still legal, it will resolve and do as much as it can.

11/17/2025

If the copied permanent has {X} in its mana cost, X is 0.

11/17/2025

If the copied permanent is a token, the token that's created copies the original characteristics of that token as stated by the effect that created that token.

11/17/2025

If the copied permanent is copying something else, then the token enters as whatever that permanent copied.

11/17/2025

Kindred is a card type that allows noncreature cards to have creature types. For example, Morcant's Eyes is an Elf (although not a creature) while on the battlefield and an Elf card (although not a creature card) in zones other than the battlefield.

11/17/2025

Some older cards were originally printed with the "tribal" card type. That card type has been replaced with "kindred." This change does not affect the gameplay function of these cards.

11/17/2025

The token created by the first mode of Brigid's Command copies exactly what was printed on the original permanent and nothing else (unless that permanent is copying something else or is a token; see below). It doesn't copy whether that permanent is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or Auras and Equipment attached to it, or any non-copy effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, and so on.

11/17/2025

While it appears only on cards that already have other card types, kindred is a card type and will be counted by effects that refer to the number of card types among cards in a zone.
