Broadcast Takeover, Sorcery, designed by Hokyoung Kim first released in Jan, 2026 in the set Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
**Broadcast Takeover** would fit best in a red-based artifact “theft” or explosive combo deck—especially in Commander—where opponents commonly control mana rocks (Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, Signets, Treasures, Clues, etc.). Stealing and untapping all opposing artifacts can generate a massive burst of mana in multiplayer, potentially enabling a game-ending spell in the same turn (such as *Comet Storm*, *Crackle with Power*, or a big extra-combat chain). It’s strongest in artifact-heavy metas and weakest against creature- or enchantment-focused decks. However, it’s generally narrow and high-variance at five mana, and in most cases **Insurrection** is far more powerful as a finisher since it steals creatures (the primary win condition in most games) and often immediately wins on the spot. Cards like **Vandalblast** may also be more consistently impactful if your goal is to punish artifacts rather than temporarily use them. As a result, Broadcast Takeover is playable in the right Commander meta
