About Chrome Replicator
Chrome Replicator, Artifact creature — construct, designed by Daniel Ljunggren first released in Jun, 2020 in the set Core Set 2021. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.50.
A deck that focuses on duplicating nonland, nontoken permanents with the same name would benefit from including Chrome Replicator, as it provides a powerful 4/4 Construct token when conditions are met. However, there are potentially better cards with similar effects, such as Mirror March or Blade of Selves, which offer more versatile or impactful abilities. Whether Chrome Replicator should see play depends on the specific strategy and synergy within the deck, as well as the overall power level of the format it is being played in.
Rules
06/23/20
If you don’t control two nonland, nontoken permanents with the same name immediately after Chrome Replicator enters the battlefield, its ability doesn’t trigger. If you don’t control two as the ability resolves, you don’t create a token. They don’t have to be the same pair, however.
