About Colossal Collision

Colossal Collision, Sorcery, designed by Tyler Walpole first released in Jun, 2026 in the set Marvel Super Heroes Commander.

Colossal Collision fits best in a green midrange or stompy-style deck—especially one built around large creatures, +1/+1 counter synergies, or fight-based removal—because it turns your biggest threat into creature removal while slightly increasing its size; it’s most appealing in Limited or very budget Standard environments where flexibility matters, since Basic Landcycling helps smooth early draws and prevents it from being dead in hand. That said, four mana is inefficient for this effect in most competitive formats: cards like Ram Through (2 mana, instant, excess damage can hit the opponent), Inscription of Abundance (flexible and often stronger at similar cost), Blizzard Brawl (1 mana in snow decks), or even Prizefight tend to be more efficient or impactful. As a result, Colossal Collision is generally playable in Limited and very casual or budget builds, but it’s unlikely to see play in optimized Standard, Pioneer, or Modern decks due to better, cheaper fight or removal options.
