Corrosion, Enchantment, designed by Michael Danza first released in Feb, 1997 in the set Visions. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.94.
Corrosion would be beneficial in a control or stax deck that aims to disrupt opponents' artifact-based strategies, especially in a multiplayer format where multiple opponents have artifacts. While Corrosion can be effective in certain situations, there are better options like Vandalblast or Shatterstorm that offer more immediate and powerful artifact destruction without the upkeep cost, making them more versatile and efficient choices for artifact hate. Corrosion may see play in niche artifact-heavy metas, but overall, it is not a top-tier choice for artifact removal in most competitive decks.
02/01/06
Only puts rust counters on artifacts your opponents control, but destroys all artifacts with rust counters on them, even your own. When it leaves the battlefield, it removes all rust counters, not just those that happen to be on artifacts.
10/04/04
It does count rust counters put on artifacts by other Corrosion cards. This means that having more than one of these can result in fast destruction of artifacts.
