About Deadly Visit

Deadly Visit, Sorcery, designed by Scott Murphy first released in May, 2020 in the set Guilds of Ravnica. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.50.

A deck that focuses on controlling the board and manipulating its library, such as a Dimir Control or Dimir Mill deck, would benefit from using Deadly Visit. While Deadly Visit is a solid removal spell with the added benefit of Surveil 2, there are potentially better options like Murder or Vraska's Contempt for more efficient removal. Whether Deadly Visit sees play would depend on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck it is included in.

Some spells that instruct you to surveil require targets. You can’t cast a spell without choosing legal targets. If all of those targets become illegal, the spell doesn’t resolve and you won’t surveil.

When you surveil, you may put all the cards you look at back on top of your library, you may put all of those cards into your graveyard, or you may put some of those cards on top and the rest of them into your graveyard.
