About Diminishing Returns

Diminishing Returns, Sorcery, designed by Allen Williams first released in Jun, 1996 in the set Alliances and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 6.34.

A deck that focuses on card advantage and graveyard recursion, such as a control or combo deck, could benefit from using Diminishing Returns. However, there are better cards like Time Spiral or Timetwister that offer similar effects with potentially less downside, making them more popular choices in competitive play. Diminishing Returns could see play in more casual or budget decks looking for a similar effect.

Each player chooses to draw any number of cards from zero to seven. First the player whose turn it is chooses how many cards to draw, then draws those cards, then each other player in turn order does the same.
