Dwalin, Weaponmaster would fit best in a Boros or Mardu Equipment/Voltron deck that wants to attack frequently, accumulate value on several Equipment, and turn even cheap tools like Bonesplitter, Skullclamp, or Sword of the Animist into increasingly threatening weapons; because his trigger affects every Equipment rather than only the one attached to him, he is especially appealing alongside token makers or multiple creatures carrying gear. However, at two mana he is efficient but likely not automatically better than established Equipment commanders and payoffs such as Wyleth, Soul of Steel for card draw, Bruenor Battlehammer for free equips and a large stat bonus, Astor, Bearer of Blades for cost reduction, or Akiri, Fearless Voyager for protection and cards; for a dwarf-focused list, Reyav, Master Smith plus a partner can also be stronger. Dwalin should see play if hone counters remain on Equipment and his attack trigger is easy to repeat, particularly in casual-to-high-power Equipmen
