A deck that focuses on tribal synergies, such as a Zombie or Elf tribal deck, would benefit from using Endemic Plague as it can efficiently clear the board of creatures that share a creature type with the sacrificed creature. However, a more versatile option could be Damnation, which destroys all creatures without the need for sacrificing one, making it a stronger choice in most situations. Endemic Plague could see play in specific tribal-focused decks looking for targeted creature removal, but overall, Damnation is a more powerful and flexible option for board control in a variety of decks.

You must sacrifice exactly one creature to cast this spell; you cannot cast it without sacrificing a creature, and you cannot sacrifice additional creatures.
