**Expansion // Explosion** fits best in Izzet (blue-red) spellslinger, combo, or control decks that run a high density of instants and sorceries, since *Expansion* can copy efficient burn, draw, or extra-turn spells (with mana value 4 or less) while *Explosion* doubles as a late-game finisher that draws cards and deals direct damage. It works especially well in formats like Commander (Izzet spellslinger), Pioneer (Izzet Phoenix-style shells), or any deck that can generate large amounts of mana.
