A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and utilizes Deserts would benefit from including Gilded Cerodon, as it can help to push through damage by preventing a creature from blocking. While Gilded Cerodon can be a solid inclusion in such a deck, there may be better options available depending on the specific strategy and format. Cards like Glorybringer or Hazoret the Fervent could be considered stronger choices for aggressive red decks in Magic: the Gathering, but Gilded Cerodon could still see play in the right deck.

If an ability checks whether you control a Desert or there is a Desert card in your graveyard, having more than one doesn’t matter. Controlling one is the same as controlling five. There is also no extra bonus for both controlling one and having one in your graveyard.
