About Gnat Miser
Gnat Miser, Creature — rat shaman, designed by Thomas M. Baxa first released in Jun, 2005 in the set Saviors of Kamigawa. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 1.11.
A deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's hand size and resource management would benefit from including Gnat Miser, as it can effectively limit the opponent's options and slow down their game plan. While Gnat Miser is a decent choice for such a strategy, there are potentially better options like Liliana's Caress or The Rack that offer more impactful and versatile effects. Whether Gnat Miser should see play ultimately depends on the specific goals and synergies of the deck it's included in.
Rules
10/01/09
If multiple effects modify a player’s hand size, apply them in timestamp order. For example, if you put Cursed Rack (an artifact that sets a chosen player’s maximum hand size to four) onto the battlefield choosing your opponent and then put Gnat Miser onto the battlefield, your opponent will have a maximum hand size of three. However, if those permanents entered the battlefield in the opposite order, your opponent’s maximum hand size would be four.
