About Grim Contest
Grim Contest, Instant, designed by Phill Simmer first released in Jan, 2015 in the set Fate Reforged and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.49.
A deck focused on high-toughness creatures, such as a Golgari midrange or control deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from including Grim Contest as it can serve as removal and a way to deal damage to opposing creatures. However, cards like Assassin's Trophy or Abrupt Decay may offer more versatile removal options, making Grim Contest situational in its use. While it can be a fun and flavorful addition to a deck, its narrow application may limit its overall playability in competitive settings.
