This card would benefit a control deck that focuses on stalling the game and searching for powerful high mana value cards to finish off the opponent. While Grozoth's ability to search for high mana value cards is unique, its high casting cost and limited immediate impact on the board make it less efficient compared to other finishers like Griselbrand or Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, which are often preferred in competitive play. However, in a casual or themed deck centered around high mana value cards, Grozoth could definitely see play for its fun and flavorful mechanics.
