This card would be beneficial in a white weenie or aggro deck that aims to establish board presence early on. However, due to its upkeep cost and the potential for being a liability if not properly managed, there are better options available such as Selfless Spirit or Dauntless Bodyguard which offer similar protection without the drawback of needing to pay mana each turn.
