About High-Flying Ace

High-Flying Ace, Creature — bird mutant, designed by Daniel Romanovsky first released in Feb, 2026 in the set Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

High-Flying Ace is best suited for a white-based limited (Draft/Sealed) deck that wants evasive threats and occasional board-breaking utility, particularly in a midrange or go-wide strategy where granting flying can push through stalled board states for a decisive attack. However, at four mana for a 2/3 flyer with a four-mana sorcery-speed activation, it is below rate for Constructed formats and even somewhat replaceable in Limited unless the format is slow. In most Constructed environments, there are significantly stronger options such as Serra Angel, Resplendent Angel, or even smaller, more efficient flyers like Spectral Sailor (in blue) or Adanto Vanguard for aggressive white decks, while cards like Levitation or Archetype of Imagination (in blue) provide more impactful evasion support. Overall, High-Flying Ace is a serviceable but unremarkable Limited card and is unlikely to see play in competitive Constructed decks due to its low power level and inefficient activated ability.
