About Hot Fix
Hot Fix, Sorcery, designed by David Sladek first released in Dec, 2017 in the set Unstable and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.70.
A deck that heavily relies on top-deck manipulation or has a combo that requires specific cards in a certain order would benefit from using Hot Fix in Magic: the Gathering. However, for a similar effect with more flexibility, Brainstorm or Sensei's Divining Top might be better options as they allow for repeated manipulation of the top of the library. Hot Fix could see play in specific niche strategies that require a one-time library rearrangement, but overall its situational usefulness might limit its inclusion in most competitive decks.
Rules
01/19/18
At the end of the ten seconds, your library must again be a single face-down pile of cards. If it’s not, you must shuffle your library, even if you weren’t touching it when time expired.
01/19/18
Have another player keep time and announce when the ten seconds are up. If you’re still touching any cards in your library when time is up, you have to shuffle your library, undoing your ordering.
