About Induced Amnesia

Induced Amnesia, Enchantment, designed by Chris Rallis first released in January 2018 in the set Rivals of Ixalan and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It see play in 1 format: Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.73.

This card, Induced Amnesia, could be beneficial in a control deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's hand and draw power. While it can provide card advantage by forcing the opponent to exile their hand and draw new cards, there are potentially better options like Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek that offer more immediate and targeted disruption. Whether Induced Amnesia should see play would depend on the specific strategy and meta of the deck, as it offers a unique effect that could be situationally useful.

If Induced Amnesia leaves the battlefield before its first ability resolves, its second ability will trigger (if appropriate) and do nothing. Then its first ability will resolve, and the exiled cards will be exiled indefinitely.

01/19/2018

If Induced Amnesia leaves the battlefield but isn’t put into a graveyard, the exiled cards are lost forever. They won’t be returned if another Induced Amnesia is put into a graveyard, even if that Induced Amnesia is represented by the same card.

01/19/2018

No player may look at the exiled cards.

There are many important moments in the story, but the most crucial—called “story spotlights”—are shown on cards. These cards have the Planeswalker symbol in their text box; this symbol has no effect on gameplay. You can read more about these events in the official Magic fiction at http://www.mtgstory.com.
