About Infantry Shield

Infantry Shield, Artifact — equipment, designed by Xabi Gaztelua first released in March 2025 in the set Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 1.60.

Infantry Shield could be beneficial in an aggressive red deck that focuses on early creature swarm and combat-based strategies, as it provides evasion with menace and creates multiple attacking tokens. However, there are potentially better options such as Embercleave, which grants a powerful boost and additional abilities upon attacking, and might be more impactful in most situations. Infantry Shield could see play in specific token-focused decks or budget builds looking to capitalize on the token generation potential.

Rules

04/04/2025

Although the Warrior tokens enter as attacking creatures, they were never declared as attacking creatures. Abilities that trigger whenever a creature attacks won’t trigger when the tokens enter attacking.

04/04/2025

You choose the player, planeswalker, or battle each Warrior token is attacking. They don’t all have to attack the same one, and they don’t have to attack the same player, planeswalker, or battle as the creature with mobilize.
