About Kozilek's Return

Kozilek's Return, Instant, designed by Lius Lasahido first released in Jan, 2016 in the set Oath of the Gatewatch Promos and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.89.

A deck focused on Eldrazi creatures with a mana value of 7 or greater would benefit greatly from including Kozilek's Return, as it provides a powerful board wipe effect when those creatures are cast. While there may be other cards with similar effects, Kozilek's Return's ability to be exiled from the graveyard for additional damage makes it a versatile and valuable inclusion in such a deck, making it a strong contender for play in the right strategy.

The last ability triggers only if Kozilek’s Return is in your graveyard as you cast the Eldrazi creature spell. That ability will resolve before the Eldrazi creature spell does. In other words, that Eldrazi won’t be on the battlefield yet and won’t be dealt damage by Kozilek’s Return.
